Police Investigate Domestic Incidents
      Archbold police officers investigated three domestic violence reports last week. One woman, Gwen Maria Maley, 29, was arrested on a domestic violence charge and taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio on Saturday, Oct. 11.

Cash Taken From Fairlawn
      Sondra Bloom-Garn, North Palm Beach, Fla., told officers $180 in cash and a check were stolen from a purse at Fairlawn Haven Saturday, Oct. 4. Martin Schmidt, Archbold Police chief, said Bloom-Garn was visiting the retirement campus and left her purse in a room at about 6:50 pm. When she returned at 7:50 pm, the money and the check were gone.

Two Charged
      Angelita Torres, 25, and Joseph Alan Warner, 29, residents of East Garden Apartments, were charged with disorderly conduct following an incident at the apartment complex, Wednesday, Oct. 8. The Archbold police department report states officers were called to East Gardens about 5:09 pm, after receiving a report that a man had been struck in the face.

      Susan Saaf, 63, Archbold, was issued a citation for violating rules for starting and backing after a two-vehicle crash on West Holland St., near the N. Defiance St. intersection at 11:37 am, Saturday, Oct. 11. Leah J. McQuillin, 19, rural Archbold, was driving a car east on W. Holland St. and was stopped in traffic about 46 feet west of N. Defiance St.

Car-Bicycle Crash North Of Pettisville On Oct. 5
      A car and a bicycle collided on Co. Rd. 19, about a tenth of a mile north of Co. Rd. H about 7:44 pm, Sunday, Oct. 5. The Fulton County Sheriff report states William Monroe Carpenter, 89, Morenci, Mich., was driving a car north on Co. Rd. 19. Also traveling north on the county road was a bicycle ridden by Mathew Mock, 16, rural Wauseon.
