Annagene M. Evers

Annagene M. Evers, age 76 years, of Wauseon, passed away Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 30, 2008, at the Toledo Hospital.

She was born May 26, 1932, near Wauseon, the daughter of Gideon and Lena (Nofziger) Miller, and married Melvin Evers on Jan. 25, 1958. A resident of the Wauseon area many years, she retired from LaChoy Food Products in Archbold, and was a volunteer for Hospice several years.

She was a member of the North Clinton Mennonite Church at Wauseon.

She is survived by her husband, Melvin; two sons, Tabb (Cindy) Evers of Napoleon, and Troy Evers of Archbold; one daughter, Tammy (Steven) Peters of Archbold; 10 grandchildren; and one brother, Cletus Miller of Archbold.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Lester Miller, John Miller, Lewis Miller, and Mahlon Miller; and two sisters, Tena Short and Rosella Nofziger.

A memorial service was held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the North Clinton Mennonite Church with Pastors Brad Faler, Wendell Nofziger, and Larry Evers officiating. Interment preceded in the Pettisville Cemetery.

Short Funeral Home in Archbold was in charge of the arrangements.

The family suggests that memorials be given to Hospice of Williams and Fulton Counties.
