Sept. 16 11:30 am: A representative of the S&S Express convenience store reported a Ford Probe with yellow-orange stripes pumped $30.02 worth of gas.

Five-Year-Old Boy Is Found Walking Along S. Defiance St.
      A five-year-old boy who told officers he was looking for his mother, was found walking in the 2000 block of South Defi- ance Street. Thom Ross, Archbold Police assistant chief, said he was dispatched to the location, south of the Pamida discount store, about 9:29 am, Thursday, Sept. 18.

Vehicle Stolen In Archbold Sept. 15 Found In Defiance
      A car stolen from a Sauder Woodworking parking lot Monday, Sept. 15, has been recovered in Defiance, an Archbold Police department report indicates. Sean P. Stover, Napoleon, told police he parked the car, a 1993 model, in the lot at 12:45 that afternoon. At 6:15 pm, he discovered the car was not where he had left it.

Indict Woman For Theft From Local Business; 13 Others Named By Jury
      Jessica D. Coale, 21, Swanton, has been indicted by the Fulton County grand jury on counts of forgery and theft from Archbold SuperValu. Roger Nagel, Fulton County prosecuting attorney, said on or about June 6, Coale allegedly forged a payroll check and stole property from the supermarket.

Survey Says: Fulton County Parents Concerned About Underage Drinking
      A majority of parents of Fulton County juniors and seniors view underage drinking by teenagers as a relatively big problem. But at the same time, 22% of those surveyed were not aware it is illegal to knowingly allow a person under 21 (other than their own child) to remain in their home on their property while drinking or possessing alcohol.
