Gordon James Quillet

Gordon Quillet Gordon Quillet Gordon James Quillet, 52, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Sept. 15, 2008.

Mr. Quillet worked at Jeep in Toledo for 25 years.

Mr. Quillet was born in Wauseon on Sept. 24, 1955, the son of the late James and Annette (Fraker) Quillet. He was a member of the United Auto Workers Union and the National Rifle Association.

Surviving is one daughter; Rachel (Dustin) Buehrer of Archbold; one son, Seth Quillet of Oregon; his mother, Annette Quillet of Wauseon; one brother, Greg (Renee) Quillet of Wauseon; one sister, Gwen (Robin) Smith of Archbold; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Le and Jim Jones of Fort Wayne, Ind. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Tyler (Cathie) Quillet, Ashley (Jacob) Grieser, Austin Quillet, Erica Smith and Nick Lynn, Kalin Smith, Dana (Jason) Cecil and Erin Thomas. Also surviving is his faithful dog, Freddy.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, Sept. 19, 2008 at Crossroads Evangelical Church in Wauseon with Pastor Tyler Quillet and Pastor Wes Hoffmire officiating.
