Archbold Boys Sixth At Archbold Invite

Neuenschwander The Archbold cross country teams hosted the Archbold Cross Country Invitational, Saturday Sept. 6.

The Blue Streak boys placed sixth out of 15 teams with 151 points. Hilltop won with a low score of 58 Pettisville took second with 97. North Central rounded out the top three with 131.

The AHS girls did not have enough runners to score as a team. Wauseon captured the girls title with 30 points. Bryan had 55; Pettisville was third with 134.

Boys

Hilltop 58, Pettisville 97, North Central 131, Stryker 141, Antwerp 141, Archbold 151, Bryan 153, Wauseon 189, Hicksville 207, Montpelier 257, Ayersville 283, Edgerton 324, Patrick Henry 335, Evergreen 338, Holgate 386.

Finishing first for Archbold was Adrian Ramirez; he placed 12th out of 148 runners in 18 minutes, 29 seconds.

Michael Volkman was 16th in 18:54; Justin Storrer placed 32nd in 19:42. Chandler Tinsman was 39th in 19:55. Jacob Gobrogge rounded out the top five; he was 49th in 20:11.

Seth Strawn was 144th in 27:24.

Antwerp's Hayden Krick won in 17:15.

Girls

Finishing first for Archbold was Laura Bowman; she placed 59th in 25:05.

Elise Sauder was 91st in 26:44; Amanda Storrer was 127th in 31:40. Paige Price was 133rd in 35:45.

Pettisville's Tanner Hostetler won in 19:34.

"All of the runners have been working hard, and they did very well today. Every runner either got a new best time or was extremely close," said Mike Wachtmann, AHS coach.

"They have been working hard during practices, and I was very pleased with their performances."
