      Aug. 24 1:22 am: A car, driven by Javier Rangel, 45, a resident of Colony Meadows, was driving north in the trailer park, and was turning right, to go east. His car collided with a parked pickup truck, owned by Rickie Biggs, Colony Meadows. Rangel was cited for no operator license and DUI.

Car Taken, Returned
      No charges were filed after a woman's car was taken without her authorization on Wednesday, Aug. 27. Kimberly Gunther, Archbold, told officers the auto was taken sometime between 7 am and 6:45 pm. Martin Schmidt, Archbold Police chief, said the vehicle was returned.

Boy Charged In Bicycle Theft
      A 12-year-old Archbold boy was charged with juvenile delinquency by way of theft, in connection with the theft of a bicycle and bicycle parts. Jami Bishard, Archbold, told Archbold Police officers her son's 20-inch BMX bike was taken from the Archbold Middle School between 8 am and 5 pm, Monday, Aug. 25.

Archbold Rescue Assists Ridgeville At Accident
      Ridgeville Township Rescue workers called Archbold Rescue to assist at the scene of a car crash about 10:47 am, Monday, Aug. 25. The Henry County Sheriff Department report said it occurred at the intersection of Henry Co. Rd. 24 and St. Rt. 34, when a minivan, driven by Jason R. Fortman, 26, Defi- ance, was traveling south on Co. Rd.

Trailer, Television Reported Stolen
      A homemade tilt-bed trailer and a 32-inch television set are among the items reported stolen to Archbold Police last week. Edwin Oberhaus, rural Archbold, told offices on Friday, Aug. 29, that the tilt-bed trailer, valued at about $800, was taken from outside a covered storage at 2022 South Defiance Street. It was taken sometime between Friday, Aug. 22 and the report date.

Items Moved In Residence
      Carrie Figy, Colony Meadows Trailer Court, told officers sometime between Saturday, Aug. 23 and 11 pm, Friday, Aug. 29, someone entered her residence. She said several items were tampered with, but nothing appeared to be taken.
