11-Year-Old Has Marijuana At Archbold Middle School

An 11-year-old Archbold boy is facing a charge of delinquency by way of possession of marijuana in Fulton County Juvenile court, after he was found to have marijuana at the Archbold Middle School.

The Archbold Police Department report states on Monday, Aug. 25, other middle school students told Mike Pressler, middle school principal, that the boy had been bragging about having marijuana at school, and that he intended to use the drug after school.

The report states Pressler called the boy into his office, and asked if he had any contraband.

The boy produced an aluminum foil packet from a pants pocket.

At about 2:21 pm, Archbold Police were called to the school.

The packet contained green vegetation and seeds. Tests by Archbold and Wauseon police, including a microscopic examination, proved the material to be marijuana.

The boy was released to his parents.
