Couple Celebrates 25th Anniversary
      Stan Harris and Melissa Knisely were married on Aug. 6, 1983, at Solid Rock Community Church, West Unity, by Aden Porter, the officiating pastor. They have three daughters: Jannelle, Cleveland; Allyson and Michaela, both at home. Their daughters, along with Duane and Onalee Knisely and Mary Merillat, hosted a surprise celebration, Saturday, Aug. 9 at the Kniselys' home.

      Kirk Weldy, Archbold, was one of five Ashland University undergraduate students who participated and competed in Entrepreneurship Immersion Week 2008, Aug. 10-15, at John Carroll University, University Heights. The event included 30 students from six northeast Ohio universities.

Lydia Wyse Named 2008 Beef Queen
      Lydia Wyse, daughter of Jerry and Roseanna, Wauseon, has been named the 2008 Fulton County Fair Beef Queen. She is vice president and an eight-year member of the Pike X-L 4-H Club, and takes beef feeder, dairy feeder, dairy steer, and born and raised steer projects.

Winner At State Fair
      Nathaniel Ballmer, son of Mark and Jackie, rural Archbold, competed at the 2008 Ohio State Fair. He competed in rabbit skillathon, Breed I.D. and judging, showmanship, and the poster contest. Ballmer received a first place in skillathon, first in the poster contest, and fourth out of 22 participants in showmanship.
