Parents Announce August Wedding
      Brent and Melanie Barnaby, Ft. Myers, Fla., announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan, Archbold, to Jason Martz, Archbold, son of Bruce Martz, Wauseon, and Greg and Mary Knox, Archbold. The bride-elect is a 1999 Evergreen High School graduate.

      Several Archbold area students have been named to the Bowling Green State University dean's list for spring 2008. Students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher with 12 credit hours.

Frey Traveling To Costa Rica
      Laura Frey, a 2005 Pettisville High School graduate and senior at Bluffton College, will travel to Costa Rica for the fall semester. A Spanish major, she is participating in a semester-abroad, cross-cultural experience. She will live with a Costa Rican family.

      Aimee Genter, daughter of Dean and Kathy, Pettisville, graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Hillsdale (Mich.) College. She was also named to the 4.0 dean's list for the 2008 spring semester.

Summer Reading Kick Off
     Mike McCartney of Santa Fe, N.M., assumes the role of "Indiana Bones" to tell stories during the Archbold Community Library kickoff for the summer reading program.
