Snow Day Fun

While grown-ups may have had places to be and things to do yesterday, Tuesday, Feb. 26, it was a snow day for youngsters, giving them plenty of time for fun. At top, Nathan Rosenbauer, 10, and Theresa Miller, 13, Archbold, stand with the snowman they built at Nathan's house on Vine Street. It has hockey stick arms, a tennis racket hat, eyes and mouth made from golf balls, and a soccer cone for a nose. Below left, a ruler stuck in the snow on an outdoor table at the Archbold Hospital cafeteria tells the tale; seven inches of snow at 9:45 am. At right, trees throughout the area had heavy coatings of snow, like these pine trees on Stamm Street.- photos by Mary Huber and David Pugh While grown-ups may have had places to be and things to do yesterday, Tuesday, Feb. 26, it was a snow day for youngsters, giving them plenty of time for fun.
