Brooke Hines will be honored as Kid of the Month at Fairlawn Haven for the month of January. She joined the Kids That Care program this last September.

Brooke visits a Fairlawn Heights resident, Mary Ellen Smith. They spend time together after school every Monday, usually playing the Skip-Bo game.

Brooke is a fourth grader in Archbold and is the daughter of Matt and Kim Hines, rural Archbold. She has an older brother and a younger sister.

Her favorite pastimes are playing soccer and football, and she loves to swim. She also likes cats and dogs.
