Archbold 8th Grade Girls Basketball

Pettisville defeated the Blue Streaks 39-22, Thursday, Dec. 20. Archbold played a hard-fought first quarter, but Pettisville went on a scoring spree in the second and was up 22-9 at halftime. The third was won by the Streaks, and they tried to cut into Pettisville's lead but couldn't score a basket often enough to make a dent.

Tori Williams led Archbold with 14 points and did a nice job on the boards. Morgan Cody and Abby Short had 3 each. Carley Wyse had 2 and played good defense, causing Pettisville to lose the ball or tying the teams up for a jump ball.

Bontrager led Pettisville with 14. The Streaks are off until Thurday, Jan. 3, when they host Swanton.
