Dec. 16

7:10 am: Representatives of Circle K reported a subject driving a white Mustang pumped $38 of gasoline and drove off.

8:15 am: Norfolk Southern crossing gates down, Defiance St., notified railroad traffic control.

1:42 pm: All-terrain vehicles on roadway, 200 block Wilson St., advised not to ride on road.

8:03 pm: Representatives of Circle K reported a white male subject, in his early 20s, wearing a gray jacket, driving a dark blue Jeep Liberty, pumped $57.02 worth of gasoline and drove off without paying.

Dec. 17

5:40 am: Vandalism report, 509 Ditto St.

7:07 am: Report of possible crash, 2200 block S. Defiance St., unable to locate.

8:15 am: Theft, 705 Lafayette St.

Dec. 18

11:05 am: Truck blocking sidewalk, 100 block S. Defiance Street, subject working on construction site, advised to move vehicle.

3:03 pm: A minivan, driven by Jeremiah Grime, 31, rural Wauseon, was traveling west in the 800 block of West Barre Rd., while a sport-utility vehicle, driven by Lenore Perez, 59, Holgate, was driving from a private drive, on the south side of West Barre Rd., about 528 feet east of Myers Rd. As Perez turned into traffic to go west, her vehicle collided with the minivan. She was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way on a public highway.

Dec. 19

10:35 pm: Report of crash, East Gardens.

Dec. 20

12:55 pm: Traffic stop, 200 block Wilson St., subject driving vehicle revving engine; there was previous report the vehicle had been traveling at a high rate of speed; spoke with driver.

2:57 pm: A car, driven by Robby E. Bates, 49, Bryan, and traveling west on E. Lugbill Rd., was stopped in traffic. A pickup truck, driven by Mark L. Sweebe, 51, rural Bryan, was traveling west behind the Bates car. The two vehicles collided. Sweebe was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
