Wauseon Company To Add 260 Jobs; Gets Tax Break

The Fulton County Commissioners supported a 65%, 10-year tax credit for International Automotive Components Group, N.A., Inc., for the creation of 260 new fulltime jobs in Wauseon.

Joe Short, county commissioner, said he, Dean Genter, and Paul Barnaby, commissioners, attended the Monday, Dec. 3 meeting of the Job Creation Tax Credit Authority Board in Columbus to support the action.

Short said the commissioners were attending a County Commissioner Association of Ohio meeting, and attended the board meeting.

IAC is consolidating work from other plants in Wauseon. The tax credit applies to the firm's corporate franchise tax.

The firm manufacturers injected molded automotive interior components.
