Mrs. Short Grade 4, Archbold
Hailey Wyse My biggest change in my life from last year is showing cattle. I am always gone on the weekend to a show, or I am working with my steers. I used to be home all the time. I love working with my steers and seeing them grow. That is my big change. Matthew Kinsman My biggest change in my life since last Christmas in 2006 was when my mom and dad started owning their own business. They were gone all the time, and we didn't see them until it was late. Our Aunt Ruby started to pull her hair out, because she had to keep babysitting. Then my parents said they would always pick us up at 4:00. That was my biggest change since last Christmas. Kitana Espinoza The biggest change in my life since last Christmas is when I went to Texas. When I was there, it was so hot! After a while I got headaches. I can't remember some things. It was a big change. Carlos Soto The biggest change this year from last Christmas is that I am 10 years old now. I am the youngest child still, but I am not the youngest grandchild any more so that means I go opening my Christmas presents after my little cousins. I also have to help serve the food to all of the family. I finally get to sit at the grown up table when we eat dinner. Those are the changes that have happened. Lukas Rodriguez The biggest change since last Christmas to this Christmas is that we moved. We moved from Monumental Street to South Street. It was the most coolest thing ever. We needed more room anyway. I still have a teeny room, and I have to share, but it is fun sharing. I think this was a good change. Alexandra Esquibel My biggest change this year was when I moved out of Delta to Archbold. Sometimes I wish I still lived in Delta, but then I am glad I live in Archbold. The reason why it is so weird is because we lived in Delta for exactly 2 years. When I visited Delta, everything was different. That is why it is so weird! Justin Coffey My biggest change has been being a fourth grader. It has changed me, because I have a new teacher and classmates. I have a ton of friends in fourth grade. I like being in fourth grader, because fourth grade is the highest grade in elementary school. That has been the biggest change since last Christmas. Emma Cobb My biggest change was that I have a new little brother. I have to keep an eye on him, and I can't wrestle with my dad around him anymore. I don't get so much attention as I used to. I have to make more stuff for him. That was my biggest change since last Christmas. Elijah Robison The biggest change since last Christmas is the way I look at things. When my dad, Kelby Schmucker had hip replacement I though I was the person that had the hardest life. When I heard that Ethan's dad, Ron Zaeer, had cancer I started thinking cancer is way worse than hip replacement. That really changed how I look at things. I'm glad both Ethan's dad and my dad are feeling better. Rebecca Schmucker My biggest change this year is going to fourth grade. It changed from summer, to school. I sort of like school, but I love summer! One change about it all, is homework! I can't wait until summer!!!!! Taylor Rittenhouse The biggest change since last Christmas is that my dad had cancer. Everybody at my church says hi and asks me questions. I get the spot light a lot with my family. Sometimes it's fun and other times mom and dad talk how it's going. That's my biggest change since last Christmas. Ethan Zaerr My biggest change is probably basketball. I got better at basketball, because I get more rebounds and more steals. My shooting got fantastic. I am better at my lay ups. I hope I keep improving. Jeremy Lerma I think that the biggest change in my life this year would be when my mom tore her Achilles tendon. When my mom tore it, she was playing volleyball. Now she can't do much. I have to do her chores like to wash clothes, sweep the house, do the dishes and pick up the poolroom. Although, she can go to school and teach full days now and do some of the chores. All this backbreaking work has made me realize that I can accomplish more things around the house. (Even though it is the worst things ever!) Derek Walker The biggest change in my life was when my cousin Caleb was born. When I go to the lake to see my uncle and my aunt, there is a little critter crawling around. Now he walks around though. Last time I saw him, we played catch with a soccer ball. It's just so hard to not play with him. Garrett Grime The biggest change the since last Christmas was moving from Lyme, NH to Archbold. It changed me, because now I live in town so I walk places. Also, the school is different because in Lyme we didn't switch between subjects. Another way it has changed me is there's no places to downhill ski since it's flat here. That's what the biggest change was for me since last Christmas. Miriam Beck My biggest change since last Christmas was that my Grandma Linda moved next door. I'm glad my grandma moved next door, because I get to see her tons more than when she lived in Napoleon. Something that has changed me since she moved in is I get to spend the night at her house more. Also I can visit her when she's sick. That's what has changed me since last Christmas. Shelby Cline The biggest change since last Christmas was getting stitches in my left leg. I was washing my club calf a couple weeks before school started, when I got tired so my dad said to go take a break. I jumped in the truck then my dad said to come. I jumped out and hit my leg right on the hitch and fell. My leg was bleeding so bad my dad took me to the emergency room. They numbed my leg, put shots in and then stitches. It was so sore I couldn't walk! That was the worst change since last Christmas. Jessica Rufenacht My biggest change in my life is my puppy. He is so hard to take care of. He is doing stuff bad all the time while I am gone. Why can't he stay out of trouble? Then Viny is always sleeping when I am home. That makes me crazy!!!! Whenever I play with him, he bits me. Why does he do that? Viny makes me mad. Alex Mackiewicz My biggest change since last Christmas is I got a dog! Her name is Aaron she is a hound dog. Aaron is a very playful dog and adores wrestling with my other dog! Aaron loves chewing up everything. That's my biggest change since last Christmas. Seth Mayer The biggest change since last Christmas probably was moving on to 4th grade! One of the big changes about 4th grade is being the oldest! We are also some of the smarter ones too! In 4th grade, we get more privileges! I really like the changes from 3rd to 4th grade! Hope Nofziger |
