Deer, Ice Cause Collisions; No Injuries

Slick roads and deer caused multiple auto mishaps but no injuries last week.

Fulton County Sheriff Department reports state that ice caused the following mishaps Saturday, Dec. 1:

- John D. Trejo, 42, rural Archbold, northbound; went off of the left side of Co. Rd. 24, struck a ditch, and rolled onto passenger side; 10:36 p.m.; three-tenths mile north of Co. Rd. D.

- Chad W. Estep, 33, Wauseon, eastbound; went off left side of Co. Rd. D, struck ditch; 10:26 p.m.; one-tenth mile east of Co. Rd. 19.

- John J. Floyd, 24, Maumee, eastbound; passenger Stanley D. Davis, 54, Holland; slid off US20A, struck ditch; 8:13 p.m.; one-tenth mile east of Co. Rd. 18.

Tuesday, Dec. 4: Larry Slattman, 52, rural Fayette, westbound on Co. Rd. L; 6:43 p.m., half mile west of St. Rt. 66.

Tuesday, Dec. 4: William H. Saltzman, 68, Archbold, eastbound on St. Rt. 2; passenger Suzanne M. Saltzman, 71, same address; 7:11 p.m., threetenths mile west of Co. Rd. 26.

Tuesday, Nov. 27: Gene Goering III, 18, rural Archbold, northbound on Co. Rd. 21-3; 6:28 p.m., one-eighth mile south of Co. Rd. C.

Tuesday, Nov. 27: William Downing, 55, Wauseon, eastbound on St. Rt. 1; 5:52 p.m., half mile east of Co. Rd. 22.

Monday, Nov. 26: Tabatha A. Yeary, Archbold, eastbound on Co. Rd. C; 9:28 p.m., half mile west of Co. Rd. 11.

Monday, Nov. 26: Leonides Mendez, 40 Fayette, westbound on Co. Rd. L; passenger Jose M. Blanco, 19, same address; 6:22 p.m., one-half mile west of Co. Rd. 22.
