NSCC Offers New Major

A new one-year certificate program in logistics and supply chain management was established by the Northwest State Community College Board of Trustees.

The board approved the program at its regular meeting Friday, Dec. 7.

A press release stated the program is offered under the college business management program.

The logistics and supply chain management certificate will prepare students for careers in logistics management, or for transfer to complete a four-year bachelor's degree.

The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals said logistics is the second-largest career opportunity. NSCC's certificate program puts students on a direct path for careers in this industry.
