Kern Named Kid That Cares

Hanna Kern, a fifth grader at Archbold Middle School, is the November "Kid That Cares" at Fairlawn Haven, Archbold. The daughter of Chad and Tina Kern, Archbold, she has one sister, Lauren.

Reading is Kern's favorite school subject, so she reads to her resident every week. She also enjoys watching TV and spending time with her pets, especially her dog, Blue.

Kern plans to be a teacher when she grows up.

Kern said she joined the "Kid That Cares" program because she thought it would be fun.
