4-Car Collision On St. Rt. 66, Nov. 26
      A mechanical problem caused four cars to collide on St. Rt. 66 around 7:17 am, Monday, Nov. 26. A Fulton County Sheriff Department report states the problem occurred in a northbound pickup, causing driver Ben F. Ashbaugh, 19, West Unity, to slow to a stop on the highway.

Archbold Police Charge Man With Falsification
      Archbold Police officers have charged Jose Daniel Mora with falsification, a misdemeanor offense, after he gave officers a false story, Sunday, Nov. 25. Police were called to the Archbold Hospital about 7:12 am, after hospital personnel reported treating a man for a stab wound.

No Injuries Result From Nov. 26 Crash
      No one was injured in a twocar collision that occurred 2:18 pm, Monday, Nov. 26, on South Defiance Street, about 190 feet south of West Barre Road. The Archbold Police report states Evelyn M. Rychener, 67, rural Wauseon, was driving a car north on South Defiance Street and stopped in traffic.

Police Investigate Theft From Firm
      Thom Ross, Archbold Police assistant chief, said officers are investigating a theft that occurred at ARS, Inc. Ross declined to give details of the case, stating the investigation is still pending.

Fire Destroys Barn, Buildings At Former Fire Site
      Fire destroyed a barn and outbuildings at the same farmstead where a previous arson fire had destroyed a house. Andy Brodbeck, Archbold Fire Department chief, said Archbold firefighters were called out at about 12:57 am, Saturday, Dec. 1, for an unknown fire south of the Norfolk Southern tracks.

Three Hurt At St. Rt. 34 And Henry Co. Rd. 24 Friday
      Brenda Pedigo, 48, Archbold, was discharged from St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Friday, Nov. 30, after she was injured in a two-car collision at the intersection of St. Rt. 34 and Henry Co. Rd. 24.
