Death Notice

Edward A. Wiemken, 71, Defiance, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007 at the Henry County Hospital, Napoleon. Survivors include his wife, Jeanette (Bartels) Wiemken; two daughters, Julie (Sam) Bok and Julie Wiemken, Defiance; four sons, Timothy (Molly) Wiemken, Thomas (Pam) Wiemken, and Dennis (Anita) Wiemken, Defi- ance, Dean (Sharon) Wiemken of Napoleon; 14 grandchildren; two brothers, Henry (Rose) Wiemken, Napoleon, Norman (Kathleen) Wiemken, Defi- ance; and three sisters, Dorothy (Henry) Gerken, Napoleon, Louisa (Bob) Blue, Hamler, and Elmina Backhaus, Defiance. Interment was at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church-Adams Ridge Cemetery.
