Dorothy M. Bernath

Dorothy M. Bernath, 102, of Archbold, passed away early Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007 at Fairlawn Haven in Archbold. Mrs. Bernath was a lifelong homemaker.

Mrs. Bernath was born on May 11, 1905 near Archbold, the daughter of the late Eli and the late Ida (Short) King. In 1932 she married Glen Bernath, and he preceded her in death in 1990. She was a member of the Archbold Evangelical Mennonite Church.

Surviving are two sons, Carlos Bernath of Coldwater, Mich. and Jerry Bernath, of Archbold; one grandson; and 3 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held Friday, Nov. 23, 2007 at the Fairlawn Chapel with Pastor Brad Bame officiating. Burial was private.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Evangelical Mennonite Church Capital Fund.
