Thelma M. Bohner

Thelma M. Bohner, age 91 years, of Archbold, passed away early Tuesday morning, Nov. 13, 2007, at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home in Archbold, where she had resided since May 22, 2003.

She was born May 29, 1916, near Ney, a daughter of Ferdinand and Rose (Hesselschwartz) Mack. She married Melvin Bohner on May 29, 1935, and he preceded her in death on June 29, 1966.

A resident of the Archbold area since 1963, she was a homemaker, and worked for Dr. Targonski in Archbold as a receptionist for a number of years. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Archbold and its Rosary & Altar Society.

She is survived by one son, Jerry (Sharon) Bohner of Rossford; two daughters, Sandy (Kenneth) Drittler and Mary (Greg) Knox, both of Archbold; 14 grandchildren; and several greatgrandchildren and great-greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, Thomas Bohner and Edward Bohner; a daughter, Peggy Guerin; and a twin brother, Edward Mack.

Services were held on Friday at St. Peter Catholic Church with Father Gary M. Ferguson officiating. Interment followed in Riverside Cemetery at Defiance.

Short Funeral Home in Archbold was in charge of the arrangements.
