Medicare Part D Checkup Nov. 19

Medicare Part D check-up day is Monday, Nov. 19 for Fulton County. The free program is at the Fulton County Senior Center, 240 Clinton St., Wauseon.

At 10 a.m. there is a questionand answer period related to Part D. The Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program (OSHIP) check-up is from 1 to 4 p.m.

Persons attending check-up day should bring their Medicare card, a list of current medications, and dosage instructions.

Medicare Part D open enrollment is Nov.15 through Dec. 31, 2007.

The Wauseon workshop helps persons look over their 2007-2008 Medicare plans and make changes. It is also helpful to people who are considering 2008 enrollment in prescription drug coverage.

Lunch is available at the Senior Center, Nov. 19 but reservations must be made in advance. Deadline is Friday, Nov. 16.
