Crash Injures Woman

Chris A. Jaramillo, 40, rural Fayette, was injured when her auto struck a semi truck about 10:48 pm Monday, Oct. 29.

The Fulton County Sheriff Department report states Jaramillo was traveling south on Co. Rd. 22, approaching the St. Rt. 2 intersection. The semi, driven by Jonathon E. Schultz, 51, Columbus Grove, owned by Beck Transportation, Archbold, also was southbound, had stopped at the intersection, and was proceeding south.

The two vehicles collided about 75 feet south of the intersection.

Archbold Rescue transported Jaramillo to the Archbold Hospital. No information on her treatment was available.

She was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
