      Kayla Marie Cheney, Troy (formerly of Delta) and Edward Jake Bierly, Troy were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. Sept 29, 2007, at Vandalia Crossroads Church of God with Rick Smith, officiating pastor. The bride wore a strapless candlelight ivory gown, and carried a bouquet of calla lilies.

Nofzigers Celebrate 50th Anniversary
      Ronald L. and Marlene M. (Short) Nofziger were married Nov. 9, 1957, at Zion Mennonite Church, Archbold. P.L. Frey was the officiating pastor. They have three children: Doug (Cheryl) Nofziger, Phil (Lisa) Nofziger, and Dawn Tijerina, Archbold. They also have seven grandchildren.

School Board Approves Personnel Adjustments
      The Archbold Area School Board approved several personnel issues during their Monday, Oct. 22 meeting. Salaries were adjusted for six employees who hold teaching certificates. Jessica Badenhop had her salary adjusted for reaching the master's degree plus 15 hours of advanced study credit level.
