Joseph Garmyn, 76, Wauseon, formerly of Archbold, died Friday, Oct. 19, 2007, at the Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Care Center. Survivors include three brothers, Ted (Holly), Defiance, Michael (Suzi), Montpelier, Patrick, Oak Island, N.C; one sister, Marilyn Reeb, Defiance. Interment was in the Archbold Cemetery.

Richard A. "Dick" Rupp, 75, Coldwater, Mich., formerly of Pettisville, died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007, in his home. Survivors include his wife Rebecca; five sons, Rick Rupp, Topeka, Kan., Randy (Laura) Rupp, Quincy, Mich., Rob Rupp, Fort Wayne, Ind., Rege (Deanna) Rupp, Quincy, Mich., and Rodney (Chris) Rupp, Lexington, Ky.; one daughter, Nanette (Rodney) Brown, Traverse City, Mich.; 15 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; one step-great-great-grandson; three brothers, Glenferd Rupp, Toledo, Maurice (Joyce) Rupp, Wauseon, and Charles (Nancy) Rupp, Pettisville; three sisters, Catherine Leitner and Evelyn Pontius, Wauseon, and Ilva (Kenneth) Shaynak, Clearwater, Fla. Services are Friday, 11 a.m., at Short Funeral Home, Archbold. Interment follows in the Pettisville Cemetery with military honors by American Legion BLW Post 311 of Archbold. Friends may call Thursday, 2-8 p.m.
