Two Killed In Vehicle- Pedestrian Mishaps Two persons died in vehicle-pedestrian crashes in Fulton County recently. Ohio State Highway Patrol Troopers said Monica Bartoshevich, 42, Milwaukee, Wis., was killed about 3:20 am, Friday, Sept. 28 on the Ohio Turnpike. Troopers say she had stopped her vehicle along the eastbound lanes of the toll road near the 31- mile marker west of Wauseon, when she was struck by a semi. The semi did not stop. Troopers are seeking the help of the public to locate the semi with a dark-colored tractor pulling a box- or van-style trailer. The tractor could be a black Volvo, which may have damage to its right front corner, troopers say. Informants should call OSHP at 419-826-5871. Clarence A. McCune, 45, Fayette, was struck and killed by a car on US20 about 4 am, Thursday, Sept. 27. The OSHP report states Mi- chael T. Ackerman, 37, rural Pioneer, was driving a car east on the highway when the vehicle struck McCune, who was walking east in the roadway. The mishap occurred between Co. Rds. 19 and 19-2. OSHP troopers are still investigating. The Fulton County Coroner office responded to the incidents; the victims were declared dead at the scenes. | |||||
