Schweinhagen Back From A Year In Iraq

Alan Schweinhagen
Alan Schweinhagen, a U.S. Army sergeant first class, recently returned from a one-year tour of duty in Iraq.

Schweinhagen, a 1987 Archbold High School graduate, served his tour at the Kalsu Forward Operating Base, with the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 725th Brigade Support Battalion (Airborne), 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division.

He is currently stationed at Fort Richardson, Alaska.

He has served in the Army for 20 years.

He and Kellie, his wife, and their children Amberly, 17, and A. J., 15, hope to return to Archbold after Schweinhagen's retirement from the service, which is pending.

He is the son of Eldon and Darlene Schweinhagen, Archbold.
