Mediator To Assist In Archbold School District Contract Talks
      The Archbold Area School Board and the Archbold Education Association, which represents district teachers in labor negotiations, said they will put their issues before a mediator. The two sides have been negotiating a wage reopener in their master agreement since early last year.

Goal For 2007 Campaign: $340,000
      Thirty-three agencies, one more than last year, are included in the 2007 Fulton County United Way. The goal this year, $340,000, is the same as 2006. Kent Roth, Archbold, continues to serve as UW Board of Director president.

Library Clerk-Treasurer To Retire After 14 Years
      Marilyn Freytag, clerk treasurer of the Archbold Community Library, will retire, Nov. 30, 2007. She has been with the library 14 years. Freytag's resignation was accepted by board members at the Monday evening, Sept. 17 meeting.
