Apaches Hold Off Streaks In Aerial Contest

      It was just what everyone expected when Archbold and Fairview squared off in a nonleague football contest, Friday, Sept. 7. The host Streaks (2-1) dropped their first game of the season as the Apaches (3-0) out-dueled the Blue and Gold 48-42.

AHS Soccer Beats Otsego
      The Archbold soccer team upped its record to 4-0-1 with a 4-0 victory at Otsego Saturday, Sept. 8. Alicia Drewes, freshman, scored fast in the first half for a 1-0 lead. After several minutes of tough play, Jessica Ramirez, a sophomore, scored with the assist of Drewes, making the score 2-0.

Fayette Boys, Wauseon Girls Win Archbold Invitational

      The Fayette boys cross country team and the Wauseon girls team won the Archbold Invitational, Saturday, Sept. 8. The Blue Streak boys placed 13th out of 15 schools with 300 points. Fayette won with a score of 96. Stryker was second with 101; Hilltop was third with 104.

Archbold Youth Soccer Club
      The Archbold Blue Streaks soccer club boys U-14 team hosted the Port Clinton Titans, Sunday, Sept. 9 in a Northwest Ohio Youth Soccer League contest. Archbold took the early lead with a goal by Brodie Nofziger in the 10th minute, with Andrew Mayer providing the assist.
