Parents Announce Autumn Wedding

Michael and Lori Creighton, Fayette, announce the engagement of their daughter Heather Creighton to John Bird, the son of Jim and Mary Bird, Fayette.

The bride elect is a 2002 graduate of Gorham Fayette High School and received a bachelor's degree from Defiance college and a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Toledo. She is employed as a controller with Creighton Electric.

Her fiancé is a 2002 graduate of Gorham Fayette High School and received a bachelor's degree from the University of Toledo and is a project engineer for Wauseon Machine.

The couple will exchange wedding vows at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, in Zion Mennonite Church, Archbold.
