Girl Scout Open House, Thursday

The Girl Scout Open House is Thursday, Aug. 30, from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Archbold Elementary School.

The informational open house is for girls from kindergarten to 12th grade and adults willing to become Girl Scout helpers or leaders. Refer questions to Nancy, 419-446-4634.

Archbold hosted the first Junior Fair livestock sale in 1955. Now the event, which spans two days and involves around 300 bidders, is held at the fairgrounds, said a Fulton County Fair board press release.
