Aug. 11

8:07 pm: Jennifer Davis, Archbold, reported a bicycle stolen from the Archbold Swimming Pool.

Aug. 14

6:42 am: A semi tractortrailer rig, owned by Maverick Transportation, Gary, Ind., was parked facing east on private property near the Sauder Woodworking Sauder St. plant. A forklift, owned by Sauder Woodworking, was driverless and traveling backwards in the lot. The forklift struck the semi.

7:44 am: Citation issued to Mandi A. Kubicki, 26, Maumee, improper lane, 1900 block S. Defiance St.

2:04 pm: Citation to Michele Y. Harris, 48, rural Alvordton, failure to stop for train at Norfolk Southern railroad crossing on W. Barre Rd.

6:08 pm: Disabled vehicle, 300 block W. Lutz Rd, advised vehicle will be moved soon.

11:55 pm: Dog loose, 1200 block Stryker St, unable to locate.

Aug. 15

7:41 am: Pumping gas then driving away without paying, Friendship Food Mart, call cancelled, subject returned to pay.

9:47 am: Vehicle vandalism, Archbold Sales & Service.

11:41 am: Problem with cats, 300 block Miller Ave., gave subject a copy of village animal ordinance, as related to cats.

1:10 pm: Power outage, directed traffic at N. Defiance St. and E. Lutz Rd. until portable stop signs placed.

4:25 pm: Vehicle vandalism, 402 High Street.

10:30 pm: Barking dog, 800 block W. Holland St., dog was in the house.

Aug. 16

6:29 am: Vehicle vandalism, 35 Oak View.

4:12 pm: Citation to Zachary A. Schaffner, 17, rural Morenci, Mich., traffic signal, Franklin St. at Stryker St.

7:35 pm: Assault report, interviewed victim at Archbold Hospital.

Aug. 17

10:35 pm: Dog loose, Union St. at West St., put in kennel at Archbold wastewater treatment plant, passed message to dog warden.

Aug. 18

9:33 pm: Skateboarders in roadway, Franklin St. at Park St., advised not to skate in road.

Note: During the preceding week, Archbold police officers gave verbal warnings for speeding and driving in the wrong direction on one-way street.
