Herbert G. Kingsbury

Herbert G. Kingsbury, age 82, of Spring Arbor, Mich., passed away Aug. 7, 2007 at Arbor Manor Care Center.

Born Oct. 8, 1924, he was a son of Milo and Bessie (Casler) Kingsbury.

He was preceded in death by his wife Beryl, and grandson Todd Kingsbury.

He is survived by his wife, Eva L.; two sons, Robert (Pamela) Kingsbury of Jackson, Mich., and Roger (Patricia) Kingsbury of Parma; a daughter, Roseanne Kingsbury of Wyoming, Mich.; four grandchildren, Sheila (Don) Blair, Troy, Torrey, and Quentin Kingsbury; a brother, Warren (Marguerite) Kingsbury of Archbold.

He was an Army Veteran of World War II, a retired supervisor from the Meter Department at the Consumers Power Company (Consumers Energy), and a member of the Hanover Baptist Church and the Bibleville Conference Center in Alamo, Texas.

Services were at the Nichols- Arthur Funeral Home, Michigan Center, Mich., Friday, Aug. 10, 11 a.m., with Pastor Robert Shevy officiating.

Interment was in Roseland Memorial Gardens.

Graveside military honors were courtesy of the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team.
