      Herbert G. Kingsbury, age 82, of Spring Arbor, Mich., passed away Aug. 7, 2007 at Arbor Manor Care Center. Born Oct. 8, 1924, he was a son of Milo and Bessie (Casler) Kingsbury. He was preceded in death by his wife Beryl, and grandson Todd Kingsbury.

      Paul M. Short, age 88 years, of Archbold, passed away Monday morning, Aug. 13, 2007, at the Defiance Inpatient Hospice, where he was admitted Friday. He was born Dec. 3, 1918, near Archbold, a son of Amandus and Malinda (Aeschliman) Short, and married Pauline Wyse on Sept. 6, 1938.
