Lois M. Rathge

Lois Mary Rathge died July 17, 2007 at Anna Kaseman Hospital in Albuquerque, N.M.

Born May 22, 1927, in Sherwood, she was the daughter of Emil and Lena Schroeder. On April 2, 1947, she married Clarence Rathge, who survives. They resided near Ridgeville Corners until 1954.

She was employed by Albuquerque Public Schools and a member of Faith in Christ Lutheran Church of Albuquerque.

She is survived by two daughters, Nilah (Kirk) Onweller of Morenci, Mich., and Susan Belville of Albuquerque; two sons, Robert (Karen) of Albuquerque and Richard (Polly) of Moorhead, Minn.; three brothers, Vernon (Lois) Schroeder of Archbold and Virgil (Carol) Schroeder and Larry Schroeder, both of Mesa, Ariz.; a sister, Edith Hayes of Archbold; and three grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 10, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Ridgeville Corners.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church, Ridgeville Corners.
