North Carolina Piedmont Sauce
      15 ounces white vinegar 15 ounces cider vinegar 3 1.2 teaspoons red pepper flakes 1 1.2 ounces Tabasco sauce 1 3.4 ounces sugar 4 teaspoons cracked black peppercorns Combine all ingredients and mix well. Use immediately or refrigerate. Makes 32 ounces.

      Martin Schmidt, Archbold Police chief, said police offi- cers continue the investigation of a Monday, July 30 shooting at the Carrie Sleigh residence, 312 South Lincoln Street. "We are investigating this incident, a major crime, because it involved a firearm, fired at a home," Schmidt said.

Developer Has Contracts On Land Left Vacant By Downtown Wauseon Fire
      Jerry Dehnbostel, Wauseon mayor, said Monday, a developer has contracts on all four vacant lots in downtown Wauseon, lots that were created by a Saturday, April 14 fire. The fire burned through about half a city block of downtown Wauseon, wiping out several businesses and a storefront church.
