Christine J. Sullivan
   Christine J. Sullivan, age 85 years, of Archbold, passed away early Wednesday morning, March 5, 2008, at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home in Archbold, where she had resided since Dec. 15, 2005.
   She was born Jan. 26, 1923 at Bryan, a daughter of Edward and Gladys (Baker) Lauber. She married Orlo John Sullivan on Sept. 21, 1940, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 5, 1988.
   A resident of the Archbold area most of her lifetime, she gathered local news for the Archbold Buckeye, and worked at the former Helen's Dry Goods and former Hess Shoes. She was involved in the Women's Bowling League, and was a member of the Archbold United Methodist Church and the Women's Group.
   She is survived by one son, Michael (Shirley) Sullivan of Archbold; one daughter, Cathy (Steven) Lombardo of Conover, N.C.; a son-in-law, Greg Rupp of Pettisville; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two daughters, Maureen Brodbeck and Suellen Rupp; a brother, Richard Lauber; and a sister, Dr. Ellyn Lauber.
   Memorial services will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Archbold United Methodist Church with Rev. David David officiating. Interment will precede in the Archbold Cemetery.
   Friends may call at Short Funeral Home in Archbold from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday.
   The family suggests that memorials be given to the Archbold United Methodist Church or Fairlawn Haven.
