The Archbold boys basketball team lost to Ottawa-Glandorf 69-58 in the Div. III regional final at Bowling Green State University, Sunday, March 9.

The game had been rescheduled from Saturday due to inclement weather.

Archbold led only once all game, when David Rupp sank a basket at the 5:24 mark of the first period to give AHS a 4-2 lead. The Titans led 14-10 after one quarter and 34-21 at the half.

The Streaks climbed back to within five, 38-33, on a Justin Rupp three-pointer halfway through the third. But OG led 45-37 with eight minutes to go.

The closest Archbold got in the fourth period was 10 points when Ottawa-Glandorf led 49-39 with seven minutes left.

Archbold bows out of tournament action with a 20-5 record. Ottawa-Glandorf (21-5), ranked 13th,  advanced to the Final Four against the winner of the Fairborn regional, either second-ranked Anna or 17th-ranked Columbus Academy, Friday, March 14, 2 p.m. at OSU in Columbus.–Posted 3.9, 11 p.m.
