Streaks Earn Outright NWOAL Title With Huge Win Over Delta

      The Archbold boys basketball team and Doug Krauss, head coach, laid claim to an outright Northwest Ohio Athletic League title with a 71-29 drubbing of visiting Delta, Friday, Feb. 8. The Streaks upped their record to 15-4 and finish the league with a perfect 8-0 mark.

      Ottawa-Glandorf jumped out to an 18-6 first quarter lead on its way to a 54-36 non-league girls basketball victory over Archbold, Tuesday, Feb. 5. It was the Blue and Gold's final regular season game. The Streaks are 13-7 heading into the sectional tournament.

      Members of the Archbold Biddy Wrestling Club participated in the Patrick Henry Biddy Wrestling Tournament at PHS, Sunday, Feb. 3. The tourney had five age divisions: 6 and under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, and 13-14. Winning titles were Gabe Petersen and Micah Garcia.
