The driver of this vehicle attempts to negotiate high water on Co Rd 23 in the Darby's Corners area. High water blocked roads in three directions at the Co. Rd. 23-Co. Rd. J intersection Wed. afternoon.

The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has extended the FLOOD WARNING for the Tiffin River near Stryker affecting Defiance, Fulton and Williams counties.

River flooding continues due to snowmelt and heavy rain last week.

 The flood warning continues for the Tiffin River near Stryker until Thursday evening, or until the warning is cancelled.

At 9 pm Monday the stage was 12.8 feet and falling. Flood stage is 11.0 feet. Forecast: the river will fall below the 11.0-foot flood stage around 9 pm, Wednesday, Feb. 13.
