      Raymond Eugene “Gene” Faler, 67, of rural Stryker, died unexpectedly Saturday, March 6, 2010, in the Emergency Department of Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind., following an apparent heart attack. Gene was born March 30, 1942, at Montpelier, to Ruth Arlene Dilworth and Kenneth Monroe Faler.

      Madalyn A. Stanforth, age 88 years, of Archbold, passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 2, 2010, at The Commons of Providence at Sandusky. She was born Nov. 1, 1921, in Archbold, the daughter of Orrin and Gladys (Lauber) Taylor. She married William J. Stanforth on Dec. 30, 1945, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 29, 1996.
